Conceptualizing the Israel-Hamas War Guided Discussion

Please join the Anthropology Department and the Office of Diversity, Equity
and Inclusion for a guided campus discussion on *“Conceptualizing the
Israel-Hamas War” *led by Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Anthropology,
Dr. James Armstrong. Dr. James Armstrong taught in the SUNY Plattsburgh
Anthropology Department from 1981 to 2020. He was also the Director of the
Redcay Honors Program.



This program is offered as an opportunity for deep listening and thoughtful
reflection. We will review the historical, political, and cultural contexts
of the Israel-Hamas war. This will also be an opportunity for our campus
community to think about ways we can support one another during these
difficult times.





*When: Thursday, November 30, 2023*

*Time: 2 to 3:15 pm*

*Place: Mowry Room (Redcay 130), Redcay Hall*
