*Mandatory Training Requirement - Ethics for NYS Employees- **On-Demand
Training Now Available*


In summer 2023, the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government,
released a new Comprehensive Ethics Training Course (CETC). The CETC is an
ethics training mandated for all New York State officers and employees. The
CETC is a training that covers the Public Officers Law and other related
ethics laws and regulations. The expectation is 100% compliance by
completion of one (1) training for all NYS employees by 12/31/23.


SUNY and Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government both have upcoming
training sessions available:

Same training content offered conveniently as a asynchronous modality.
Enroll to complete at your own pace, around your schedule. The training can
be found within the SUNY Employee Portal via the Statewide Learning
Management System (SLMS). Instructions on how to enroll and access
the training are attached.


The Commission on Ethics & Lobbying in Government is providing live
training sessions:

   Thursday, November 16, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, November 30, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 7, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 14, from 1-2:30 p.m.
   -

   Thursday, December 21, from 1-2:30 p.m.


State employees may request registration at a Commission hosted session by
filling out a training registration request at:

   You will receive an email confirmation when your request has been
   processed.

   WebEx access links will be sent to all registered participants the week
   of the event.

   address so that the training records are properly recorded.
