*Equity Advocate Training Dates Announced*



Please join Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Affirmative Action, and The
Plattsburgh College Foundation for our upcoming Equity Advocate Training
opportunities.



Equity Advocates (EAs) are employees who serve as consultants and advisors
to search committees to support the growth and development of workforce
diversity.

The benefits of participating in the training are:

●     Support the growth and development of workforce diversity

●     Learn skills to promote equity-minded practices

●     Receive training that allows you to serve as an Equity Advocate

●     Gain useful information about how unconscious bias and
microaggressions impact the hiring process and workplace

●     Meet new people and learn about best practices



Employees can nominate someone for this program or you can self-nominate.

inclusion on the workshop's dates, which are on:

*Monday, June 12th and Wednesday June 14th*

*10am to 12 noon (Hosted on Zoom)*



*OR*



*Tuesday, June 13th and Thursday, June 15th*

*10am to 12 noon** (Training Session held in-person)*

**12pm to 1pm will be an optional networking lunch for participants
attending the in-person option.
