Audition double feature: Dragons Love Tacos and Climate Play Festival

*Dragons Love Tacos Auditions*



Auditions for Dragons Love Tacos will be taking place on *Tuesday, March 28
from 6:30pm to 9pm in Beaumont 401.*



Based on the children’s book by Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri, Dragons
Love Tacos is about dragons that love tacos, no matter the kind. In fact,
if you want dragons to come to your party, you should just serve tacos.
Lots of tacos. But beware of the salsa. Salsa and dragons don’t always mix.



This play for young audiences will be performed in the Fall 2023, with
Erika Guay serving as director. Students cast members will be a part of
THE305, a three credit class that will meet TR 12:30-1:45.



*Climate Play Festival Auditions*



Auditions for the Climate Play Festival will be taking place on *Tuesday,
March 28 from 6:30 pm to 9pm in Beaumont 301.*



Auditions are for the following 10-minute plays (*available to read on New
Play Exchange via Feinberg Library*):



*What a Memory Looks Like* by Rachael Carnes

*To You & Me & the Ocean *by Melanie Coffey

*oranges* by Rachel Lynett

*After Dark *by Lavinia Roberts

*The Intervention *by Ayesha Siddiqui

*An Umbrella for the End of the World *by Julie-Anne Whitney

*Talking Heads on the Television *by Kaleb Pecoraro*

*6.8 *by Sarah Tuft**

People, animals, planets, and a star.



Performances are 5-8pm on May 5, 2023 in downtown Plattsburgh as part of
First Fridays:

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the scripts and are open to
all SUNY Plattsburgh students, regardless of major or experience.
