MetaMusic in Concert

At Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall


Plattsburgh, NY – The music trio MetaMusic will perform on Sunday, March 26
at 2 pm in Krinovitz Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the
public.

MetaMusic returns to SUNY Plattsburgh with a program of chamber music.
Featuring the works of Rachmaninov, Dring, Slapin, and more. Metamusic was
formed several years ago, joining Daniel Gordon (saxophone), Marilyn
Reynolds (violin and viola), and Rose Chancler (piano) in an unstoppable
music trio. A favorite throughout the North Country, MetaMusic has also
been on concert tours to Texas and Finland, with more concert dates in
Danbury, CT and Keene Valley, NY. In a quote from Reynolds, “We make it our
business to unearth under-performed music and find ways to appropriate
pieces written for other combos.”

Come out Sunday, March 26 at 2pm and usher in the spring weather with great
chamber music!
