Sometimes it is difficult to recognize just one individual or department
for extraordinary service across campus. We received a special recognition
that we would like to share.



>From Dr. Megan Valentine, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences:

I want to say thank you to every student on this campus who has held a door
for me, an elevator, carried something, put away things for me, handed out
papers, and just asked if I needed anything. I had knee surgery and am on
crutches and I have been overwhelmed with students (and faculty and staff)
that have gone out of their way to help support me when I can't use my
hands and have limited mobility. It makes me very proud to work someplace
where so many are going out of their way to help.



Help build our SUNY Plattsburgh community by acknowledging the special
efforts of those on campus.
