Graduate Sorority Membership

Fraternity and Sorority Life at SUNY Plattsburgh is working with Zeta Phi
Beta Sorority, Inc. to start a graduate chapter for college-educated women
in the Plattsburgh area. Zeta Phi Beta is a national women's organization
dedicated to the principles of scholarship, service, finer womanhood and
sisterhood. Members of the graduate chapter would benefit from the personal
development, professional development and sisterhood opportunities the
organization provides. The graduate chapter would also supervise an
undergraduate chapter at SUNY Plattsburgh, which is currently inactive
because it does not currently have the endorsement of a graduate chapter.
We are collecting names of faculty, staff and community members who have a
Bachelor's degree or higher and who have not been affiliated with any other
similar organization in the past to be invited to an information session
with the New York State Director later this summer. If you, or anyone you
know, is committed to scholarship and service opportunities and
professional and personal development opportunities, please contact Allison
