'23 UB Summer Semi-Formal Clothing Drive

Hello everyone!


As you might know, Upward Bound is a program that assists high school
students in gaining new opportunities and success in attending college.
Every year we have a summer program where North Country high school
students attend classes, do activities, and live on campus to prepare for
life at college.  Each year we host an end of the summer banquet for the
students where they dress up, attend a dinner in the ACC, receive awards,
have a dance party, and celebrate their summer achievements while
reflecting on memories made during the summer with an annual summer video
made by students and summer faculty.


In the past we have organized a semi-formal clothing collection for
students to use for banquet, making it a night to remember!  If you (or
family & friends) are interested in donating semi-formal clothing for this
year's banquet, we will be accepting donations through Wednesday August 2nd
at Harrington Hall.  Our office in Harrington is open M-F from 8-4pm
(closed for lunch from 12-12:45pm) and our number is 518-564-2030 if you
have questions about drop off times or you can email me at
swilc002 at plattsburgh.edu.  I will attach a pdf with additional information
so please check it out!!
