Graduate Assistantships

provide a 50-100% tuition waiver (at NYS resident rate), as well as a
stipend valued between $3,000-$9,900 per year in exchange for 10-20 hours
of work per week.  This is also an excellent way to gain professional
experience.

Graduate Fellowships
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/admissions/graduate/aid/fellowships.html>
allows eligible graduate students to work part-time in a position related
to their academic and/or professional goals. Graduate Fellows can work up
to 20 hours per week and are paid $19 per hour.  Students must qualify for
Federal Work Study.  Award amounts are determined by Student Financial
Services and cannot exceed a student's unmet financial need.

Graduate Diversity Fellowships

provide full or partial tuition funding for students who can successfully
demonstrate through their application that they will contribute to the
diversity of the graduate student body.  To be eligible students must be a
U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and be a newly applying full-time
graduate student.

The Graduate Opportunity Program

offers tuition assistance of $1,000 to full NYS graduate tuition per
semester for students who graduated from an EOP/HEOP/SEEK program.  A GOP
application must be completed and the director of the EOP/HEOP/SEEK program
from the student's program must verify their graduation from the program.
Funding is limited and awards are not guaranteed for all who apply.
