Nominate students for Feinberg Library's 2024 Prize for Undergraduate Research

Dear Colleagues,

Your students have already done the research work, now help them claim the
Prize!

The *Feinberg Library 2024 Prize for Undergraduate Research *recognizes
student excellence in library research. *All student applicants must be
nominated by a faculty member,* so we encourage you to consider supporting
this wonderful opportunity for them.

*Winners receive $500* (applied to their college bill), a certificate, and
publication of their submission in the  SUNY Open Access Repository
(SOAR) (view
past prize winners <https://soar.suny.edu/handle/20.500.12648/43>).
Runners-up receive honorable mention.

*Requirements*
Student submissions can be for any class project—written, oral, or artistic
in nature—that involved use of library articles or books, research in
Special Collections, or consultations with a reference librarian.
Submissions must be for research in any subject completed in a 300- or
400-level course during any 2023 semester (Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall).

Current students are eligible to apply. Students who have graduated may
also submit applications, providing their projects were completed during
the allowable submission period.

   - *Faculty nominations* - accepted now through March 3, 2024
   - *Student applications* - accepted now through March 30, 2024

Funding for this prize is provided through the charitable support of the
Plattsburgh College Foundation.
