awesome guest speakers, who will be Zooming in to share their expertise
with us. The Center for Teaching Excellence invites you to our workshops
being held this coming week:

·  2 p.m. Guest Speaker: John Kane, “Challenges Posed by ChatGPT”

·  3p.m. Workshop: Alternatives to Timed Exams

·  9 a.m. Workshop: 5 Ways to Increase Inclusivity and Student Learning

·  1 p.m. Workshop: Classroom Phone / Device Policies

·  3 p.m. Guest Speaker: Jeremy Scheinder, “Transformative First Year
Seminars”

·  9 a.m. Drop in at the CTE office for syllabus support

·  3 p.m. Workshop: Creating an Equity & Inclusion Syllabus Statement

*Friday, August 18*

·  9 a.m. Drop in at the CTE office for syllabus support

·  3 p.m. Workshop: Increasing Student Engagement and Participation


*NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED *This year you can attend most CTE-sponsored
workshops or events with no registration required. For everything taking
