Take Back the Night Vigil

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a ‘Take Back the
Night’ vigil and pizza rally at Hawkins Pond. The event will take place
Wednesday, April 26th from 6-7p.

STOP Domestic Violence, a program of the Behavioral Health Services North,
and Sexual Assault Services, a program of Planned Parenthood, will be
available during the vigil.

The purpose of the rally is to support sexual assault and domestic abuse
survivors during sexual assault awareness month. It is also a chance to
acknowledge and remember those who have been victimized by gender-based
violence. This event will also provide an opportunity for people to lift
the names or memories of those who have lost their lives to sexual assault
or domestic and dating violence.
