Lavender Graduation Ceremony

On behalf of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Plattsburgh
Alumni Association, College Auxiliary Services, and the LGBTQ+ Resource
Committee at SUNY Plattsburgh, you are invited to attend The Lavender
Ceremony to celebrate your graduation from SUNY Plattsburgh as a member of
our queer community, or as an ally to our queer students. Please feel free
to share this event information with any of your students.

The Lavender Graduation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 2023
starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Krinovitz Recital Hall in Hawkins Hall. There
will be light refreshments, a speaker, and a ceremony in which lavender
cords will be given to graduates. Please complete this RSVP form

These answers will go to members of the LGBTQ+ Resource Committee, and the
Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Allison Heard, who is
also a member of the committee. Please email LGBTQ+ Resource Committee
