a conversation about the role advisors and coaches can play in increasing
our students’ social capital in the campus community through
culturally-responsive advising approaches. Please join us as we ask and
address:


   - What are some of the common needs and experiences of BIPOC, 1st gen,
   and low income students to consider as we advise, coach, and guide?
   - How, through awareness and some simple acts, can we strengthen their
   connections, and increase students' access to college knowledge and social
   capital here?
   - And what bearing might these practices have on equity, retention,
   student success, and senses of trust, belongingness, and well-being?

emails to primary advisors and program coaches, but *all *staff and faculty
are invited and very welcome to attend the conversation nested at the
junction of academic success and DEI.]
