The CEES Seminar Series presents:
*Julia Boyles '14*, Geologist, Vermont Geological Survey

But what do you really do? Thoughts from a Plattsburgh Geology alumna on
life as an early-career scientist
*Friday April 7th, **3:30pm. *
*Hudson 106*

In honor of the Mary Roden-Tice Scholarship celebrating women in
geology, Julia
will guide us through her college-to-career transition and explore the kind
of projects and research a geological survey does within a state government.


In addition to the seminar there will be a *lunch for students in Hudson
155 at 12:00 on Friday April 7th*, to talk to Julia and learn more about
her career. *Lunch is open to all students.*


There will also be a reception prior to the seminar starting at 3:00
outside the lecture hall


*All seminars are free and open to the public. *
