Campus Community:
After an emergency, you may have to survive on your own for a while because
it could take several days before help arrives. Emergency responders cannot
reach everyone immediately and for this reason, you should have a plan and
an emergency supplies kit ready. Click here
<https://www.ready.gov/plan-form> to start your emergency plan.
An emergency supplies kit is simply a collection of basic items your
household may need in the event of an emergency. Plan on food, water, and
other supplies to last at least three days. Start assembling a kit well in
advance of an emergency and storing it in an accessible location.
You should consider creating at least two emergency kits: one full kit for
your home and one portable kit for your work, vehicle, or another place you
spend time.
