Friday Gallery Concert

At Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall


Plattsburgh, NY – The SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music presents
the fall  Friday
Gallery Concert at Krinovitz Recital Hall, on October 28 at noon.

A long standing tradition of music on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus, the
Friday Gallery Concert series showcases the talent and training of our
music students.Usually we present this concert in the Gallery in the John
Myers building lobby. Due to construction, our fall performance of this
event will take place in Krinovitz Recital Hall in Hawkins Hall.

Our Fall 2022 concert features vocal students Bryn Walsh, Cody Gooley,
Georgia Becker, and Charlotte Stevens as they perform a bevy of pieces
ranging from Billie Holiday to Hugo Wolf. Each of these performances are
skillfully accompanied by music department chair, Dr. Karen Becker, who
also directs the program.

Additionally, in a special performance, the cast of 9 to 5 The Musical will
be performing a sample of songs from their upcoming performance. These
pieces will be accompanied by SUNY Plattsburgh Music alumnus, Ryan Mahony
(‘19), who is serving as rehearsal pianist, as well as a member of the
musical’s pit orchestra.

The Fall 2022 Gallery Concert takes place on Friday, October 28 at 12:00 pm
in the Krinovitz Recital Hall, within Hawkins Hall. This event is free and
