Campus Blood Drive 10/27

Project HELP and the Adirondack Regional Blood Center will host the SUNY
Plattsburgh Campus Blood Drive on Thursday, October 27 from 11 a.m. until
3:30 p.m. in the Angell College Center Cardinal Lounge. This semester's
drive is being held in honor of Kathy Lavoie, Ph.D., an American
microbiologist and explorer who was the Dean of Arts and Sciences and
Professor of Biological Sciences for SUNY Plattsburgh. Dean Lavoie was a
big supporter of giving. Along with charitable donations and volunteering,
Kathy would regularly give blood and used to work in a lab as a Medical
Technologist. Project HELP Is happy to be able to honor her memory in this
way.
