Graduate & Professional School Fair - Oct. 5th

The Graduate & Professional School Fair is an event hosted by the Career
Development Center each fall. *Over 30 colleges and universities* will
recruit at this event for students. It is open to all students and alumni;
the fair offers a great opportunity to network and discover options for
continuing education.

   - Date: Wednesday, October 5, 2022
   - Time: 11 a.m. - 1:30  p.m.
   - Location: Angell College Center Ballrooms

You can find out what schools are registered so far on our website. Please
keep in mind that this is NOT a complete list. Consult the information in

*REASONS TO ATTEND:*


Please encourage students to attend (please forward to other faculty in
your department). Students of all majors and all class levels are welcome.
It can also be valuable for students that don't plan to pursue advanced
education immediately after their undergraduate degree. Many of the
representatives are actually coordinators of the programs and may make the
acceptance decisions. So a fair can be MUCH more valuable than just looking
at a website. Encourage your students to attend.


   - *First year students* can gather information to confirm their choice
   in major.
   - *Sophomores* can find out what experiences are valued in admissions
   - *Juniors* can get more detailed information as to the admissions
   requirements
   - *Seniors* can get financial assistance information and last minute
   questions answered before submitting their application materials
   - *Alumni* can get ideas for programs for promotions and career changes
