Unused Annual Leave Allowed to be Carried Through 2023

The Governor’s Office of Employee Relations (GOER) has reached an agreement
with all unions and M/C employees on an extension of the upcoming annual
leave expiration date. Employees will not forfeit unused annual leave in
excess of 40 days on January 1, 2023 (or April 1, 2023 for classified
employees).

All unused ANNUAL leave can now be carried through December 31, 2023.

No employee action is necessary. Changes will be made programmatically to
the Time and Attendance System that will allow all unused annual leave to
be carried into 2023.

As we move toward the end of the fall semester and into the holiday season,
hopefully employees will be able to take some much-needed time off.  Please
coordinate time off requests with your supervisor. Any questions or
