Join Us for monthly TRHT Circles on the first Friday of each month from
12:00-1:00 pm in the H.U.B.

SAVE THE DATE ~ Fall Semester Circles will be held:
Friday, November 4 and December 2, 2022

The Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Campus Center at SUNY
Plattsburgh will be hosting an *Rx Racial Healing Circle today at noon in
The H.U.B. to talk about political perspectives ~ how we form them, how we
sustain them, and how they impact our lives *(1st Floor of the Angell
College Center).

All are welcome (students, staff, faculty, & community members)!

Many in our community feel this space is set up to simply discuss race and
although topics of race, along with other aspects of our identities, are
frequently discussed, the purpose is not just to talk about race. Racial
healing happens when we come together and share our lived experiences, when
we hear about the lived experiences of those who are different from us and
when we find the commonality within that human experience. So yes, we do
talk about race, gender, sexual orientation, and all other difficult
topics, but if you have been hesitant to join because you think it will be
just another conversation on race then you are missing out on a wonderful
opportunity to get to know those in your community at a deeper level, and
we encourage you all to take advantage of this space to share, learn and
grow together.
