Important note about upgrades in labs and classrooms

To all teaching faculty:

*This summer, ITS will continue improving teaching stations* with the
addition of dual monitors in select classrooms. This upgrade has been
successful in our 10 test classrooms. It offers the benefit of greater
flexibility,
to make your hybrid classes easier to conduct.

*A note about software on campus computers*
To further improve computer performance, ITS staff will be reloading
software on many classroom and lab computers across the campus.

   - IMPORTANT: If a classroom has any specialized software installed that
   you intend to use next semester, please let us know *by no later than
   June 3**.* Email the classroom and software title to
   helpdesk at plattsburgh.edu

Special software without a request may not be reinstalled once computers
are reloaded. Please make a point to verify the software you use works as
expected well in advance of the beginning of the Fall semester. Be sure to
report any issues to ITS using helpdesk at plattsburgh.edu

*We are also looking for feedback* on the Intellishot (tracking) cameras
placed in some classrooms. If you used one of these cameras, please let us
know how it worked for you by sending feedback to classrooms at plattsburgh.edu
