Please join the Gender and Women's Studies Department for "Queer, Trans, &
BIPOC Activism in the Adirondacks" on International Working Women's
Day, this Tuesday, March 8th in the ACC Alumni Conference Room from 12:30
p.m. to 1:45 p.m. We will have a presentation and discussion with Nicky
Hylton-Patterson, Director of The Adirondack Diversity Initiative and Kelly
Leigh Metzgar, Director of Adirondack North Country Gender Alliance and
Adirondack North Country Gender Advocacy & Education. Please join in the
conversation to learn about strategies to dismantle systemic gender, race,
and sexuality-based injustices and to build more inclusive and sustainable
communities.
