Update on SUNY Changes to Library Databases Across the System

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that our SUNYConnect library network soon will
provide our campus with access to an exciting—and timely—new database
subscription.

*Diversity and Ethnic Studies *is a groundbreaking collection of e-books
that includes thousands of high-quality titles on topics of diversity,
equity, and inclusion, from more than 230 leading university presses and
academic publishers.

The change, set for July 1st, will give us access to e-books spanning the
following subjects:

   - African American Studies
   - Age & Gerontology Studies
   - Asian American Studies
   - Asian Studies
   - Autism & Neurodivergence
   - Disability Studies
   - Ethnic Studies
   - Gender Studies
   - Global Black Studies
   - Hispanic & Latin American Studies
   - Indigenous Studies
   - Islamic Studies
   - Jewish Studies
   - Migration Studies
   - Native American Studies
   - Poverty Studies
   - Religious Studies
   - Sexuality & LGBTQ+ Studies

The latest SUNYConnect package will also eliminate access to several minor
databases that were determined to be the least-used across the entire SUNY
system; namely,

   - Alt HealthWatch
   - Associates Programs Source
   - Computer Source
   - Energy and Power Source
   - Entrepreneurial Studies Source
   - Fuente Academica Plus
   - Religion and Philosophy Collection
   - Vocational and Career Collection
