Employee Parking Registration for the New Academic Year

Employees are urged to pre-register vehicles in August for the 2022-23
academic year. Although the 2021-22 faculty/staff tags do not expire until
September 30, 2022, early registration allows UPD sufficient tag processing
time during this busy time of year. Find the registration instructions on
the Campus Parking <http://www.plattsburgh.edu/parking> page.

New employees and first-time registrants may park pre-registered vehicles
with no tag in August, but no later than the start of the fall session,
until assigned parking tags are claimed from the ACC (see schedule
below.) *Providing
a vehicle is properly pre-registered and legally parked*, tickets for 'no
permit visible' received in August will be expunged.

Employees renewing parking registrations may also claim tags from ACC (see
schedule below) and replace their 2021-22 tag upon receiving a new one.
Unclaimed faculty/staff tags will be interoffice mailed on September 9 to
employee campus addresses. Validate the accuracy of your Banner campus
address now (MyPlattsburgh under Personal Information) to avoid a misrouted
or lost tag.

2022-23 parking tags will be disbursed from:

*Angell College Center, **9A-Noon, August 25-30 (except Sunday, August 28)*

Prior to arrival, verify tag assignment in MyPlattsburgh
<https://www.plattsburgh.edu/portal/> (Employees tab to Automobile
Registration) to ensure it is ready. Not ready? Pre-register, and pay the
applicable parking fee(s), and then wait 24 hours to pick it up. Effective
August 31, tag disbursement will move to University Police.
