The past few weeks have seen quite a few ferry closures at Cumberland
Head/Grand Isle due to ice and high wind. Furthermore, the Rouses Point
bridge closed on Feb. 2, 2022 after a crash. Commuters found it impossible
to cross the lake. Do you wonder why there isn’t a bridge yet connecting the
two biggest cities in our region? Come hear what I have found out about
this long due critical infrastructure, from the perspectives of public
health, travel needs, politics, social justice, environmental impacts, and
more.
