Ringing Down the Curtain

At E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall


Plattsburgh, NY – The SUNY Plattsburgh Departments of Theatre and Music
presents the fall Ringing Down the Curtain at E. Glenn Giltz
Auditorium, on December
7 at 7pm, and December 8 at 7pm.

A long standing tradition of performance on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus,
Ringing Down the Curtain is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a showcase of
student work on campus. Though normally featured within the John Myers
Building, this semester’s performances will take place on the E. Glenn
Giltz Auditorium stage.

Wednesday night’s event includes a duo of holiday-themed performances from
Julia Devine’s Acting for Everyone courses. Additionally, Michael Fratino
and the Guitar Ensemble will take the stage with a variety of works,
including music from Jimmy Hendrix, The Cure, Koji Kondo, and more.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Join us Thursday for a bevy of different
performances that begin with Laura-Jean Schwartau’s Acting for Everyone
courses. This is followed up by Kathy Koester’s Dance for Everyone and
Dance & The Creative Process classes as they perform Music and Dance of the
Boroughs of New York City.

The Fall 2022 Ringing Down the Curtain takes place on Wednesday, December 7
at 7:30pm, and Thursday, December 8, at 7:30pm in the E. Glenn Giltz
Recital Hall, within Hawkins Hall. This event is free and open to the
public.
