Child Care Center Openings

SUNY Plattsburgh Child Care Center, located in Sibley Hall, has two
openings in its 2022–23 Fall Pre-K class.

The program is taught by a NYS-certified early childhood teacher and an
assistant teacher with an educational background in childhood education,
both with many years of experience.  The research-based curriculum that is
used meets NYS Education Department’s Pre-kindergarten Learning Standards.

Our Pre-K classroom is a child-centered learning environment with a high
level of engagement, exploration and enthusiasm.  Teachers foster child
creativity, confidence and independence to prepare children for success in
school and in life.

Eligible children must turn 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2022.  The program
operates Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Families
also have the option of enrolling their child in our 2023 Summer Program.
Weekly tuition is $220.

Pre-K placement is open to families of both the campus and area community.
