Applied Learning Grant Showcase

I wanted to reach out to you to invite you to our office's annual Applied Learning Grant Showcase on April 21, at 4:00 p.m. in the Cardinal Lounge in the Angell College Center. This is our first time hosting it in-person since 2019, and we are excited to be doing so. This event has two main objectives. First, to raise the awareness of the Applied Learning Grant program with the campus community, and secondly to share all the unique and varied student experiences the grant helps fund.

Annually, the Applied Learning Grant program receives between $10,000 - $20,000 from the College Foundation to support applied learning experiences including internships, research, conference presentations, among other items. Students apply via our website during 4 annual review cycles to be considered for funding. 

On Thursday, April 21st at 4:00 p.m., we will be hosting a short program to showcase students who have received a grant during the 2021-22 academic year, and also sharing details about how students can apply for 2022-23. If interested, please feel free to attend, and share with students who may be interested in applying for next year.
