Welcome Back! I am contacting you today  because believe it or not there is
an election in the near future, and we at SUNY Plattsburgh want you
prepared to exercise your right to vote. This email is not an attempt to
tell you who to vote for, but simply an effort to inform and encourage you
on how to and when to vote. Below are some deadlines and links that you
should be aware of:

To Register to Vote

For New York State:

Through the DMV (Online):

Paper Registration: http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingRegister.html

Secretary of State Database:

New York State Voter Registration Deadlines for the  General Election:

The following are set deadlines, if you register any later you will not be
able to participate in the 2021 Election. So have all of your items
postmarked by or well before the following dates:

Voter Registration Mail-In Date: October 8th

Voter Registration In-Person: October 23rd

Application for Absentee Ballot by Mail or Online: Postmark Date- October
18th.

Request an Absentee Ballot in-person: November 1st.

 Tuesday, November 2nd is the date of the General Election if you plan to
vote at your assigned polling location.
