Subject: Anne Nelson’s The Guys coming this weekend

Anne Nelson’s The Guys is coming to the Hartman stage at SUNY Plattsburgh!



The Guys focuses on New York City fire captain, Nick, who must write
eulogies for eight firefighters who died in the World Trade Center towers
on September 11. He struggles with his emotions and to find the right
words, eventually enlisting a professional writer, Joan, to help with the
project. Through their collaboration they develop a relationship that is
both unexpected and therapeutic.



This event commemorates the 20th anniversary of the heroes of 9/11, as well
as honoring our local First Responders.



Join us September 10th and 11th at 7pm, and September 12th at 2pm, for this
great event. The Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir will start the evening off
with a special mini concert before the show on September 11.



The suggested donation for General Admission is $15, and Students $3. All
proceeds from the show will go to District No. 3 Fire Department (d3fd.org).
