Environmental author and journalist Ken Ilgunas will visit campus November

encourage students to attend.

Ilgunas has two books: Trespassing Across America, in which he walks the
entire 1700 mile path of the proposed Keystone XL pipeline documenting the
environmental and social justice impacts that this pipeline development
would bring for people along the route. His second book, Right to Roam, is
about the tensions between wilderness, conservation of nature, development
and public and private land in the US.

In addition to these books Ilgunas writes for major magazines including
Time, Backpacker, High Country News, Washington Post and others. His work
focuses on current environmental justice controversies.

adventure, humor, justice and science.
