Join us in celebrating the Class of 2020

As you know, due to the pandemic the Class of 2020 didn't have their
long-awaited opportunity to participate in a live commencement. On *Saturday,
Oct. 16*, SUNY Plattsburgh and the Plattsburgh Alumni Association will be
welcoming members of the class back to campus so they can have their
opportunity to cross the stage in Giltz Auditorium.

Due to capacity restrictions, this ceremony is limited to the graduates and
their two guests, however *the event will be followed by an outdoor tree
dedication and a reception by Hawkins Pond that is open to the entire
campus community*. The tree dedication and reception will begin immediately
following the ceremony (roughly *10:45 a.m.*). There will be brief remarks
at the dedication and a performance by Minor Adjustments.

The rain location for this event will be in the Warren Ballrooms of the
Angell College Center.

We hope that you'll join us by the pond to congratulate the class in person!
