Accepting Drescher Leave Applications

The Joint Labor Management Committee has announced the intent to fund a
round of Drescher Diversity and Inclusion Leaves in Fall 2022. These funds
are provided to enhance employment opportunities by assisting employees to
prepare for permanent or continuing appointments with preferences given to
minorities, women, persons with disabilities or employees with military
status.



The internal deadlines will be as follows:

   -

   Monday, October 4, 2021 – Issue call for applications. Please contact
   Sponsored Research at X2155 or email at wemettme at plattsburgh.edu for an
   internal application.
   -

   Friday, October 22, 2021 – Final internal applications due Office of
   Sponsored Research and Programs by email to wemettme at plattsburgh.edu
   -

   Monday, November 1, 2021 – Institutional review of proposals by Members
   of Provost’s Cabinet.
   -

   Monday, December 6, 2021 – Notification of campus level results.
   -

   TBD – Final documents completed and signed.  State-level proposal mailed
   by Sponsored Research Office.
   -

   February 1, 2022 – Statewide/JLM Deadline
