Center for Teaching Excellence! Increasing Student Success: Roundtables, Resources & Discussion

Many of us are working with students who seem to be having trouble staying
engaged, completing their assignments, and staying on track for success. So
I’m inviting everyone to attend one or more of three newly scheduled CTE
roundtables to be held via Zoom:

*Thursday, November 4, 12-1 p.m.*

* Monday, November 8, 12-1 p.m.*

*Tuesday, November 9, 12-1 p.m.*

These will be open-ended conversations for sharing our observations,
including identifying possible causes and obstacles to student success
right now, and brainstorming strategies for responding proactively and
positively.

Come and converse with your campus community, including folks from the
Learning Center, Academic Advising, the Cardinal Core, GEO, and more! No

I’ve also added a new section to the CTE Moodle site titled “Helping
Struggling Students in the Pandemic Era” with an open discussion forum and
some key readings and resources that could help us all understand and
respond to the unprecedented challenges we’re facing in higher education
right now. I hope you’ll join the conversation!
