I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer! Pride month is right around the
corner and SUNY Pride has some amazing opportunities to get involved:

Pride in Bloom*



It’s been a long winter, and it’s time to bloom – bloom into who you are,
who you want to be, who you’ve always been but couldn’t say. It’s time for
us to bloom together, to embrace growth and change and celebrate life in
all its colors. It’s time to rededicate ourselves to equity and justice for
all, to commit to supporting each other no matter who we are or how we
love. This is the season to let our pride bloom. This is SUNY Pride 2021.

Are you thinking about internships, job interviews, and navigating the
professional world as a member of the LGBTQ+ community?  Do you have
questions for considerations when applying and want to hear about real life
experiences from SUNY alumni and career development professionals? Or as an
ally, what can you learn in order to support an inclusive workspace in the
future? Join us to network with our SUNY community and hear from SUNY
alumni and related professionals who will share their knowledge, tell their

*SUNY Pride 2021 Video - We want to hear from you!*



To participate, please send a 30-60 second video *by June 1st*, answering
the question: *What does SUNY Pride in Bloom mean to me? It means...*



These video clips will be shared across SUNY social media channels, and in
events, throughout the entire month of June as we celebrate *SUNY Pride in
Bloom*.



*Please follow the instructions below:*



1.      Record video in *landscape* mode using highest resolution possible

*2.      *Video should be no longer than 60 seconds

3.      Do not add music

4.      Please record in area with great lighting. We want to see your
faces!

5.      For cohesion, please start your videos with one of these phrases

·        *“SUNY Pride in Bloom means…”*

·        *“What does Pride in Bloom mean to me? It means…”*

6.      BE YOU!  Feel empowered to show us your most authentic self in your
video.
