Tuesday Reflections presents Dr. Karina Ckless, Professor in the Chemistry
Department, Dr. Neil Buckley, Associate Professor/Chair in the Biology
Department and Dr. Nana Ankrah Assistant Professor in the Biology
Department speaking on *COVID-19, Immunity and Vaccines: Myths and Facts *on
Tuesday, March 30 at 4:30pm via Zoom only. Below is an abstract of the
presentation.

Do you have questions about COVID-19? Do you want to know how your immune
system responds to virus infections? Are you curious about how vaccines work
and how vaccines have been used historically to save lives? What are the
available therapies beyond vaccination? Where can you access accurate,
science-based information on everything vaccines? If you want answers to
any of these questions please join our science professors Drs. Ankrah and
Buckley (Biology) and Dr. Ckless (Chemistry) as they talk about “all things
COVID-19”. Our panelists will cover topics ranging from the history of
vaccination, how vaccines work to the latest in vaccines and therapies for
COVID-19. You will also learn where to find reputable and accessible
information
about all these important and current issues.
