Spring 2021 Mid-term Grades Due March 24 by 11:30 PM

Dear Spring Faculty,


Spring 2021 mid-term grades are due Wednesday, March 24, by 11:30 p.m.  The
Banner mid-term grade field is available for grade entry.  Instructions for
recording mid-term grades:


1.       Log into MyPlattsburgh Portal.

2.       Click on the Faculty Services Tab.

3.     Select the term for which you are entering grades.

4.       Click on Mid-term Grade Roster for each CRN (course registration
number); faculty of cross-registered courses may now submit mid-term grades
for cross registered students.

5.       Enter and Submit Grades.

Mid-term grades must be recorded on time.  These grades are used by
advisors, coaches, and directors of student support offices in assisting
students with planning their course schedules.  Mid-term grades give
students a sense of their academic progress and are valuable in providing
early feedback that may improve success and retention.


If you are unable to determine a mid-term grade at this point, please enter
the “N” grade; do not leave the grade field blank.  If a student is
registered in your course and has never attended, a mid-term grade of “E”
must be entered per Faculty Senate policy.
