It is my pleasure to announce our campus has engaged with Vector Solutions
award-winning SafeColleges

administer and manage our compliance training program

SafeColleges offers many user-friendly and intuitive features that are a
marked improvement from our previous platform.  These features include:


   -

   A Test Out Option - You will have the option to “Test Out” for select
   courses.  If you successfully complete the pre-assessment with the required
   results on your first attempt, you can bypass the course and will receive
   credit for completing the course.
   -

   One-Stop Training Solution - SafeColleges affords us the opportunity to
   house any campus training in one convenient location.  Department training
   that is administered in person, as a presentation, or video can be added to

   Easy Log In - You do not need to create an account, simply use your SUNY
   Plattsburgh credentials to log in

   Robust Course Library - You will all have access to a library of extra
   trainings by simply clicking on “View Library” on your My Assignments page.
   -

   “Off-Line” Courses - Attendance for in-person training can be added to
   SafeColleges by simply contacting anika.fullum at plattsburgh.edu.


You can expect to receive a training assignment email from SafeColleges for
our first round of courses.  The following topics will be assigned based on
federal and state regulations, as well as SUNY regulations and best
practices:

   HazCom Right to Know - SUNY Plattsburgh
   -

   Active Shooter: Run, Hide, Fight


Courses have been assigned to employees based on their role on campus and
you can expect an assignment email from SafeColleges (@safecolleges.com) on
or around *August 1st*.

Please note, SafeColleges is becoming Vector Solutions and both names may
be displayed in the training portal.
