REMINDER: Submit Your Library Reserves Requests for Spring 2021

Dear Faculty,

Please submit your requests for *Library Reserve items* as soon as possible
as you plan for the Spring 2021 semester. As mentioned in our previous
message, we have found that ordering and shipping are taking a bit longer
than usual.

We accept donations of course texts; or, you can choose to provide personal
copies that will be returned to you at the end of the semester. For either
of these options you can bring your books to Feinberg Library's
second-floor Service Desk. Please note that, should the library close
during the semester, reserve items likely would not be available.

*If you are looking for alternatives to traditional textbooks:*

   -  First, we strongly urge you to consider the option of free Open
   Educational Resources (OERs); these include textbooks and other
resources. View

   OERs for links to collections and a wealth of information about these
   important resources and how to use them.
   - Instead of textbooks, you may want to use resources such as book
   chapters, articles, or videos from our library’s databases. View our

   directions for directly linking to them from your Moodle course.

*If you are using a traditional textbook*, you may want to contact the
publisher to see about special offers or online access for your students.
