Accepting Drescher Leave Applications

The Joint Labor Management Committee has announced the intent to fund a
round of Drescher Diversity and Inclusion Leaves in Spring 2022.  These
funds are provided to enhance employment opportunities by assisting
employees to prepare for permanent or continuing appointments with
preferences given to minorities, women, persons with disabilities or
employees with military status.

The internal deadline will be as follows:
Friday, February 26, 2021 - Issue call for applications. Please contact
Marianne Wemette at 518-564-2155 or email at wemettme at plattsburgh.edu for
internal application.
Friday, March 19, 2021 - Final internal applications due to Office of
Sponsored Research and Programs by email to wemettme at plattsburgh.edu.
Friday, March 26, 2021 through Friday, April 9, 2021 - Institutional review
of proposals by Members of Provost’s Cabinet and one UUP member designated
by the Executive Committee of UUP.
Friday, April 30, 2021 - Notification of campus level results.
TBD-Proposals mailed by Vice President of Academic Affairs (or designee);
final documents completed and signed
Statewide/JLM Deadline: Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
