28 Days of Equity- Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of SUNY Plattsburgh’s 28 Days of Equity!


The first day of Black history Month is fitting to start a project such as
this one! Our 28 Days of Equity will provide brief daily reminders to
educate yourself about different aspects of equity, and diversity; with
emphasis on the impacts of bias, the experiences of anti-Black racism and
having courageous conversations about racism.


The goal is two-fold; to build our collective sensitivity of racial equity
while moving us from talk to intentional action as a campus and to
challenge us to do our own work to address inequities in our daily lives.
