SENT ON BEHALF OF JOSEE LAROCHELLE, VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND
FINANCE

Colleagues,

Our long time Facilities Director, William Circelli, will be retiring at
the end of this calendar year. Bill was hired as an Assistant Stationary
Engineer in the Spring of 1992 and worked his way up through the ranks
holding various titles of Plant Utilities Assistant, Plant Utilities
Engineer 1 and 3, Assistant Director of Facilities, Interim Director and
finally promoted to the Facilities Director in April 2017.

As Facilities Director, Bill was responsible for the largest department and
number of employees in the Administration and Finance Division. Our campus
would not have successfully operated during the pandemic without Bill and
his team. Bill walked every inch of this campus- many, many times. He
answered every question, solved or facilitated the resolution of every
problem, and came to campus every single day. We are so grateful for his
service these past 29 years.

I would like to take a moment on behalf of the entire campus community to
recognize all that he has done for SUNY Plattsburgh and wish him the very
best on this next chapter of his life. You will continue to see Bill until
December 31 and I hope you all take a moment to thank him as well.

And with Bill’s departure we welcome Tyson Moulton, Assistant Vice
President of Facilities and Operations. Tyson began his career at SUNY
Plattsburgh on December 1. Tyson brings over a decade of experience
overseeing facilities management, planning, design and construction, and
environmental services in addition to other departments. Tyson holds
degrees in Ecological Design and Construction Management.

While at Northwestern Medical Center, he developed proactive measures to
aid long term capital planning for plant equipment replacement and
construction and renovation projects. His leadership in institutional
energy efficiency saw him recently recognized as the 2019 Vermont State
Energy Champion by Efficiency Vermont. Tyson’s unique blend of experience
and education will be assets to our campus.

I hope you will join me in welcoming Tyson to our campus and support him as
a member of the Administration & Finance Leadership Team.

Best,

Josee
