Dear Faculty,

In planning for the Fall 2021 semester, we urge you to submit your requests
for Library Reserve items as soon as possible. We have found ordering and
shipping is taking a bit longer than usual.

*Please submit your reserve requests here:*
https://forms.gle/jpx3qAmAK78evvFm7

We accept donations of course texts. Or, you can choose to provide personal
copies that will be returned to you at the end of the semester. For either
of these options you can bring your books to Feinberg Library's
second-floor Service Desk.

*If you are looking for alternatives to traditional textbooks, *we strongly
urge you to consider the option of free *Open Educational Resources*
(OERs); these include textbooks and other resources.

   - View our online library guide
<https://researchguides.plattsburgh.edu/oer> on OERs for links to
collections and a wealth of information about these important resources and
   how to use them.

*Instead of textbooks,* you may want to use resources such as book
chapters, articles, or videos from our library’s databases. Find directions
for directly linking to them from your Moodle course here:
https://researchguides.plattsburgh.edu/urls

*If you will be providing copyrighted materials *in your course, please
review our summary of Fair Use Guidelines
<https://researchguides.plattsburgh.edu/fairuse>.

As always, don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Thanks,
