The Institute for Ethics in Public Life invites you to its regular
colloquy, led this week by Dr. Richard Spindler, current Institute Fellow
and member of the mathematics faculty at SUNY Plattsburgh.
In his residency at the Institute this semester, Rich will be exploring,
among other themes, the ethics of mathematicians in their profession as
scholars, the ethical dimensions in the application of mathematics, the
ethics of teaching mathematics, and the ethical and aesthetic aspects of
pure mathematics.
