Criminal Justice Department, speaking on “Analysis of Overdose Incidents in

Analysis of Overdose Incidents in Burlington, VT

Presenters: Dr. Mustafa Demir



Summary:  The presentation focuses on temporal, spatial, and
spatio-temporal analyses of overdose incidents using the calls for service
data between 2012 and 2018 in Burlington, VT.  Using the calls for service
data in Burlington, VT, the study examined how overdose incidents varied
temporally, spatially, and spatio-temporally. The findings indicated that
the prevalence of overdose incidents were not uniform. They were clustered
at certain times, certain places, and certain places within certain times.
