Hello,
Early Voting started on October 24th and goes till Nov. 1st. Please check
with your local Board of Elections in your County for specific times and
locations. Click here <https://www.elections.ny.gov/CountyBoards.html> to
find out your County Board of Elections contact information.
Also, as you get ready to cast your vote, please know that if you run into
any issues there is help out there. Click here
<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bsVmvTumhQo0EdiB2S_p5tebvlj8Vc1o/view?usp=sharing>
to get information about helpful service happening during these next 7 days
in the event you're having difficulty finding your polling place, your
registrations status or if your right to vote is being challenged.
Lastly, if you have forgotten to submit an application for an Absentee
Ballot, you still have an opportunity to Vote. If you're not currently
living in your own county, you can request what is called an
*Affidavit Ballot*. This will allow you to cast your ballot in the county
that you're in now. You can do this at the polling station or at the County
Board of Elections near you. You must be a registered voter to request an
Affidavit Ballot.
Don't wait to get out there and vote! If you cannot vote or have voted
already, be sure to encourage friends, peers in your class and family to
get out there and vote as well. Encouraging just three people can make a
huge impact!
Happy Voting!
