Together in a Time of Division: Two Short Forums

The students in PRE 124 Different Together would like to invite you to
"Together in a Time of Division," two short forums about staying in
dialogue with others, even when we have profound disagreements, noon-12:50
p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, and Wednesday, Oct 28.

Among the students' honored guests will be both conservative and liberal
community leaders and individuals who have worked with our government and
political parties. These include:


   - David Rodriguez DeCancio '93, special assistant to the speaker of the
   New York Assembly.
   - Peter Ensel, former City Council Member and associate professor of
   communication studies.
   - Patty Waldron, member of the Clinton County Legislature and owner of
   the Koffee Kat.
   - Clark Currier, Clinton County Republican Party chair.
   - Meg Lefevere, member of the Plattsburgh Town Board.
   - Chyresse Wells '13, former deputy press secretary to Andrew Cuomo and
   PR strategist at Corning Place Communications.
   - Bruce Lawson, Clinton County Republican party finance chair and former
   city director.
   - Christopher Huntley '13, who recently served as a senior speechwriter
   for Elizabeth Warren during her presidential campaign and is currently vice
   president of strategic communications at Blue State.
