Required Form for Instructors Using Open Educational Resources

Colleagues,

All instructors teaching a course that uses Open Educational Resources
(OERs) in Fall 2020 are required to complete and submit a SUNY OER Courses
form by October 30.

The form, with submission instructions, is available online at:
https://forms.gle/M3Rxuu9ATPFp6U7H6

Instructors using OERs this semester should fill out the form even if you
have previously reported your OER course. If you are teaching a course for
which the materials were more than 50% free AND openly licensed (such as
with a Creative Commons license), your course is an OER course.

If you are not sure whether your course meets the criteria, please contact
me at mthie002 at plattsburgh.edu.

If you are teaching more than one OER course, fill out the form one time
for each course. If you are teaching multiple OER sections of the same
course, submit the form once, but indicate each section you teach.

Due to budget cuts, there is no grant funding at this time, but we are
required to submit data about OER courses to SUNY. Should you have any
