2020 SUNY Plattsburgh SEFA Campaign - Important Updates

Dear Colleagues:

The 2020 SUNY Plattsburgh SEFA Campaign officially kicked-off on Thursday,
October 1, 2020 and will conclude on Friday, December 11, 2020. Yesterday
marked the second full week of this initiative. We have already raised an
impressive total donation amount of $13,830 (34.6% of our final, $40,000
goal).

In realizing this year’s campaign looks very different from years past, it
is even more imperative that we do our part to help those in need. The
coronavirus pandemic has hit hard, and our 82,000, four-county area is met
with an even greater need for help. Our statistics show that one in two
individuals has, or will have, the need to utilize charitable services;
it’s interesting to note that two-thirds of the money we raise via this
campaign remains local! Although some of you may not physically be
on-campus, you may still  donate via the online pledging option. This
option can be accessed by going to the SEFA website: sefanys.org. Let Carol

EXCITING NEWS!!!

We have added a brand new component to this year’s campaign – A RAFFLE!!
This raffle is not like those from prior campaigns; this initiative is even
bigger and better than ever before!  Beginning on Monday, October 19, we
will be sending raffle tickets to individual departments. These tickets are
packaged in the form of 15 tickets for $10.00; however, they may also be
purchased individually for $2 and in packets of 7 for $5. Please see your
department representative or contact Carol or me to purchase tickets.

One nights’ lodging at Valcour Inn & Boathouse

A Gorgeous, Hand-Carved Wooden Mirror ($300 value)

Two, $25 VISA Gift Cards from U1st Federal Credit Union

Two, $25 Gift Certificates from Pizza Hut

A Golf Package; Green Fees, Umbrella, Cap, Golf Balls, and Golf Towel (to
the Barracks Golf Course)

$50 Gift Certificate from Lee Appliance

Two, $10 Gift Certificates from Amazing Grace Vineyard and Winery

PLUS, many more to be added this weekend!!
